This bright and colorful mermaid on parade is located outside of the Virginia Oncology Associates building near Norfolk International Airport. Looks like a rainbow doesn't it?
I was born at DePaul Hospital. We moved to Germany, Florida and Georgia for several years and then moved back to Norfolk when I was 7 years old (my Dad was in the Army). I lived and went to school in Norfolk from 2nd to 7th Grade, when I then moved to Virginia Beach.
If you would like to help the Suffolk tornado victims, please consider donating to the American Red Cross. You can donate over the phone by calling (757) 539-6645. The Red Cross has said they need donations of money, rather than furniture or clothing items. More charitable organizations can be found on the WAVY TV website.
