Yesterday the Downtown Norfolk skyline lit up during its annual Grand Illumination Celebration. As part of the celebration, immediately following the city's illumination, the 24th Annual Grand Illumination Parade began. This year's theme was "Celebrate the SEAson" in recognition of Hampton Roads' nautical heritage. These are a few photo highlights from the parade, taken from my view on Granby Street.

Great! I'm glad you liked it! It was my first time going and it was fun, even though I was sure I was going to have to go to the ER for frostbite -- it was so cold that half the time I couldn't feel my fingers, so I'm happy that ANY shots at all came out! :-)
